Once upon a time there was a very nervous girl who was about to make a big step in life. She was deep in thought wearing her fiance's poker shirt. Today was the day.
The bouquet was perfect.
The tables were set, candles lit, and the beautiful woodsy cake that the bride dreamed up was complete.
Makeup done, hair done, dress on.

Final touches, wings and wands...stay with me here.
In the mean time these dudes are sweating bullets.
Then James and Pup got caught across the river with the ring bearer on foot because Veteran's Bridge was being closed for fireworks, and because they needed cigarettes, although the itinerary the bridezilla typed out clearly said to not leave the area....at least they made pictures. The bride might have accidentally dropped the f-bomb during the photo session during this crisis.
But you never guess by these smiles...
Everybody chilled, and by that I mean the bride.
The bride very much loved the cute boy she was marrying...he was thoughtful, caring, trusting, dependable, smart, and fun.
This picture is cool because the statue in the background. I was just cooling off and it tuned into a photo op.
Brother, Mom, and Dad.
My Family.
His Family.
Yes we gave a 6 year old a lit candle, we had to it was awesome. Oh and the flower girl threw fairy dust, aka glitter.
Minutes before I ate the strawberries off of the groom's cake. Nobody mentions the bride starves on her wedding day...or it might have been stress eating. I did have that moment when the surrealness of the day went away, and I was freaking a little.
But it was very brief, Brian is the one for me...
Done deal baby!
Another one bites the dust, seriously that was our exit music.
Happiness, Mimi checking out the rock, and jets flying over.
Lets go Party!
FYI, the bride doesn't really get to eat at the reception either. If you plan on getting married soon know that you will starve...
Notice my grandparents busting a move, that is how they roll.
As we left literally a fire work show began. The jets and fireworks were from Riverbend, but worked out perfectly in my low budget wedding. From the prom dress I wore, to the handmade wands, my wedding was awesome. On June 18, 2005 Brian and I were joined together in a Midsummer Night's Dream. Hence the theme. That is how our family began. Now 5 1/2 years later we have two blonde haired blue eyed babes, that we love more than life itself. I never dreamed that Brian would be as great a father, husband, and provider that he is. He is kind, loving, patient, and successful. I always tell him that he is lucky that he married me, but I think both of us hit the jackpot when we chose to marry eachother.
Pretty day, for sure. Loved when the plane flew over. You looked marvelous!
