I Say Happy, You Say Birthday

This weekend Gramps and Nana came up to stay with us, so that they could celebrate with Ellis at Chuck E Cheese's. They of course brought fun things, including a kite. Nana taught Ellis how to fly it.

He got the hang of it, yep he is doing it by him self!

Ellis' birthday was by far his best yet! After all the build up, and dissappointment that it wasn't his party time YET, he had a blast! It was the first birthday party that didn't require me to work work work, and yet they had the most fun.

Too cool for school.

I can't believe Momma is letting me stand on this chair.

I'll huff and I'll puff....

Everytime I look at this pic I think of Beastie Boys Intergalactic,  I don't know why...

After the party, we all went back to the house. Gramps, Nana, Gigi, Pops, Mimi, Unkey, Aunt Steph and Brooklyn all stayed just a little longer to celebrate the birthday event, and to watch Ellis play with all of his toys and spend some quality time out of the chaos of CEC. The party is important, but also is being with family.

In four days Ellis will be officially 3 and I will surely cry. He is so much fun, but him growing up is bittersweet. Like they say, all in the blink of an eye.

Thanks to all of our family and friends that came to celebrate Ellis' 3rd with us. We surely love you all, and for those of you that couldn't make it we missed you, The Freemans, Jeff G, Jenny, and always Papa.
