1. I am thankful that both of my children now take sides against me. Yeah crazy, let me explain. They have each other backs, and although in the heat of the moment it drives me up the wall, isn't that what a sibling is all about. Lainey was in trouble today (she wouldn't give me the dirty q-tips that I had just cleaned her ears with and wouldn't throw them away herself either, the little hoarder) so after asking nicely I took them. Ellis told me that I "need to be nice to Lainey" and was going to retrieve them for her. Then he went and hugged her and stayed with her, through the whole "q-tip trauma". Whenever Ellis gets in trouble Lainey screams and cries until all is resolved. It drives me nuts, and warms my heart all at the same time. They can fight like cats and dogs, but at the end of the day their loyalty to each other lets me know they have a great brother/sister relationship.
2. I am thankful that this is a short work week for Brian. I feel like I didn't hardly see him at all last weekend because we were so busy, and he has been working late, and I have been working more, and I miss him. He is my partner in crime ya know.
3. I am thankful that project help has started a 3yr old class, and that Ellis started back Tuesday. The boy was so stinking happy to start school back. He lit up and was so happy!

Try to not focus on the negative today, and find the positive side of things. Nobody wants to hear your negativity anyway. Seriously.
