Saturday Notes

I am so fancy and sophisticated I made homemade ravioli on Friday. Now never mind they look like a kindergartner made them be impressed.

Now here is the reality of me making this dish:

Yikes. I am not usually this messy, but making ravioli was a first and I got scattered fast.

We had a fun evening with the kiddos, went to our first drive in movie to see Cars 2. We first went to Sal's to eat pizza. The raviolis were for Saturday, and after all of that I didn't have the motivation to cook, so we went out to eat for the first time in I don't know how long.

All four of us sat at the kids picnic table. People thought it was funny.

Ellis and Lainey had an absolute blast at the drive in. It was very inexpensive, $12 for all of us, and a perfect environment for our kid who is less likely to comply.

Both kids stayed up through the whole movie, ate ice cream, and felt like big stuff.

After Ellis slept in til 8 and Lainey 9, which is total awesomeness, we packed a lunch and went to the splash pad. Our town has so many parks, and they are so awesome. I am glad for free fun stuff!

Happy long weekend everyone!
